Christmas Adventure in Vegas!

This Christmas I decided very last minute to drive myself to Las Vegas to see a concert, it was probably the most random trip I've ever taken, but when you can book a 600 sq. feet suite for just $32, it didn't take too long for me to decide to go, plus with gas being cheaper, it's probably the best time now to go to Vegas.

Although it would have been fun to go with others, it was nice driving myself and enjoying the view on the way there, I was able to snatch some nice shots of the mountains and the Vegas night life after the concert was over. There were probably less people there than Vegas would normally have during Christmas, but the city was decently populated.

The concert was pretty fun, I had 2 friends who almost played in it, but were too busy. JJ Lin is an awesome performer, good singer, pianist, dancer and he can even do beat box really well too! The band was ok, kind of lacked energy, maybe because they just go put together a few days before the concert, it's a marked difference from Amei's band which uses the same folks for the whole tour, she's more loaded though. Caesar's Palace didn't let people take cameras, so I didn't get any shots or videos, but some people who sneaked cameras in posted some videos on youtube, so I was able to check those and remember the night. I really love these concerts and I honestly feel lucky to live in the U.S., especially L.A. because we get all the big artists from Asia playing here. I just wish the tickets weren't so expensive. I probably need to take a break from going to concerts so my bank account can recover. It's going to be hard though, not to be tempted to go to concerts. I'm not going to make this my new year resolution cause I know I won't be able to keep it. But for now, I'll try not to go to any unless if it's David Tao. I'll post pictures and videos from the Amei and JJ concert in my next post.
